Hank Johnson Worries Guam Capsize Marine Buildup
Hank Johnson D-Ga. is raising some eyebrows with a comment he made about the U.S. territory of Guam during a House Armed Services Committee hearing last Thursday. In a discussion regarding a planned military buildup on the Pacific island, Johnson expressed some concerns about the plans to Adm. Robert Willard, head of the U.S. Pacific fleet. “My fear is that the whole island will become so overly populated that it will tip over and capsize,” Johnson said. Willard paused and replied, “We don’t anticipate that.”
Earlier today, we along with a lot of other Web sites poked fun at Rep. Hank Johnson’s assertion that, were the U.S. to relocate naval personnel to Guam, “my fear is that the whole island will become so overly populated that it will tip over and capsize.” Over at The Gaggle, we called it the quote of the day, noting that “Guam is 212 square miles with a population of 175,877.
Last week, Georgia Congressman Hank Johnson was asking questions of Adm. Robert Willard during a House Armed services Committee, and let his concerns be known that a Marine buildup on the small Pacific island may lead to it capsize. Adm. Robert Willard politely replied âWe donât anticipate thatâ.
Johnson expressed his worries during a House Armed Services Committee hearing on the defense budget Thursday. Addressing Adm. Robert Willard, who commands the Navy’s Pacific Fleet, Johnson made a tippy motion with his hands and said sternly, “My fear is that the whole island will become so overly populated that it will tip over and Reached for comment, a spokesman for Johnson said the lawmaker had visited Guam, and his concern was that the influx of military personnel would overwhelm the island’s infrastructure and ecosystem.
Bill of Rights Day
Bill of Rights Day, It Is A Holiday! National Bill Of Rights Day! First Adopted in 1791, and still some of the finest work of any wordsmith in history! I just Love Bill of Rights Day, for me it is everyday! No reason to wait until the 4th of July to celebrate Independence, I cherish the Bill of Rights, and I want to encourage you to remember December 15th as an Important Holiday to remember. September 17th is Constitution Day, Another Important Day to celebrate! Make certain they are on Your calender in 2010 as well !
I have a favorite amendment in the Bill of Rights, this is The Ninth:
The numbering of certain Rights in the constitution be construed to deny OR disparage other Rights retained by the people.
Aren’t ya’ gonna’ DO something?. May God Bless American Freedom, and May God Bless American Liberty, and May God Bless American Justice Under God, not justice under government.

National Cupcake Day
National Cupcake Day, According to the Fast Food Maven, SusieCakes is celebrating National Cupcake Day by giving away free cupcakes to anyone who brings in a new, unwrapped today.
SusieCakes just happens to be my favorite cupcakery. I would happily donate a toy, but to get a cupcake in return is even better!
SusieCakes has decided to extend the toy drive until December 23, so you don’t have to get there tomorrow. But can you believe that Christmas is only a week away?! Where did the time go?

LIL Wayne Rebirth Leak
LIL Wayne Rebirth Leak latest updates :- Apparently, Amazon accidentally shipped copies of Weezy’s Rebirth. Oops! Rebirth had been pushed back to February 1, 2010, but it’s only a matter of time that it hits the net.
The seemingly never-ending delays may have come to an end, at least for those willing to traverse file-sharing sites. More tracks from Lil Wayne’s long-awaited rock ‘n’ roll effort “Rebirth” have leaked, and industry trade Billboard is reporting that online retailer Amazon.com may have had a hand in getting the album in the hands of the as-yet-unknown culprit. About 500 copies of the album, writes the magazine, were shipped to fans who had pre-ordered the record, which had most recently been scheduled to be released on Dec. 21.
Lil Wayne is the last artist to sell more than 1 million copies of an album in a week, a feat accomplished by his “Tha Carter III,” when it debuted last year. While the initial tracks released and leaked from “Rebirth” have failed to capture the sort of attention of his rap efforts, his star power isn’t necessarily in doubt. To date, “Tha Carter III” has sold more than 3.3 million copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan.
If Universal does not bump up the release of “Rebirth,” it will be arriving in stores just as Lil Wayne is expected to receive a year-long prison sentence. While it was known that the artist’s sentencing would occur in February, the hearing is now officially set for Feb. 9, according to multiple reports.
