Prakash Jha gets Raajneeti catchphrase ‘Karaara’ copyrighted

Considering the word’s surging popularity, Prakash Jha has registered the title Karaara for one of his future projects.
Besides giving Bollywood its first bonafide political hit, Raajneeti has also added a new aggressive adjective to the normal filmy vocabulary.
So powerful and all-pervasive is the impact of the word ‘Karaara’ (powerful) that it’s now being used liberally at celebrity events and reality shows. Prakash Jha who co-wrote the dialogues of Raajneeti (with Anjum Rajabali) was shocked to hear judges on reality- television using the word.
“I was quite taken back when after a contestant’s performance a celebrity judge turned around to call it a ‘karaara performance’. Good we’ve added a weighty word to filmy dialogues.”
Not so good is the clamour to register film titles with the word ‘Karaara’ in it. Jha was alarmed when his office started getting calls from several production houses asking if the word Karaara was copyrighted by Prakash Jha as a film title.
Says Jha, “It was only then that I realized I had given a potential title for the title-starved industry. Though I don’t intend to name any of my new film Karaara, I’ve registered it for future reference in various combinations and permutations including of course Manoj Bajpayee’s rabble-rousing “Karaara Jawaab Milega’.”
Jha will part with the precious word on only one condition. “If Karan Johar asks me for it I’ll give to him. I know he’s strapped for Hindi titles.”
In the meanwhile, Manoj Bajpayee who uttered the word on screen suddenly has catchphrase to combat the other popular Bihari Babu Shatrughan Sinha’s ‘Khamosh!’ Manoj is being requested at every public event to say the line “Karaara Jawaab Milega.”
Says Bajpayee, “I remember after Satya I was asked to say ‘Mumbai Ka King Kaun?’ Now it’s ‘Karaara Jawaab Milega’ Not bad.”
Manoj has been asked by at least two filmmakers to use it in his forthcoming films. But he refuses to do so. “I said the catch phrase in Raajneeti. But they were written by Prakash Jha and Anjum Rajabali. I’ve no rights over them.”

Kayla Manson a teenager of 13 years has come into news these days. She used “c word” twice on Today Show this morning.
As this word is not allowed to use anywhere and any time that is why viewers are criticizing and blaming her on using bad language and misbehaving.
She was once accused to help her boy friend in attempting the murder of her best friend.
At the Today Show she show a lot text messages related to this incident. These texts were exchanged between her boy friend and best friend before the murder. This word was used in those text messages and she could not control herself while expressing and speaking this
word twice.
No doubt she was in shock and nervous but it could not prove her innocent and people will not forgive her on this little point.Manson said she did not see the texts where her boyfriend, Wayne Treacy, threatened to kill her best friend, Josie Ratley, but rather only ones in which they called each other names.
Manson said the two text messages she saw were “the one where she calls him a rapist, and she calls him a cunt, I mean the one where he calls her a cunt.”
wheelbarrow

A wheelbarrow is a tiny hand-propelled vehicle, generally with just a single wheel, created to be pushed and guided by a single person making use of two handles towards the rear or a sail may possibly be used to guide the ancient wheelbarrow by wind. The term “wheelbarrow” is produced of two words: “wheel” and “barrow.” “Barrow” can be a derivation from the Old English “bearwe” which was a device utilized for carrying loads. Because the word “barrow” is not in typical use in English these days, several people incorrectly substitute the word “barrel” in place of “barrow” as this appears to make a lot more sense (possibly simply because the cavity in a wheelbarrow resembles a half-barrel)
4″ /> even though it can be not a correct etymology.
The wheelbarrow is developed to distribute the weight of its load between the wheel and also the operator so enabling the convenient carriage of heavier and bulkier loads than would be feasible were the weight carried completely by the operator. As such it’s a second-class lever. Conventional Chinese wheelbarrows, nonetheless, had a central wheel supporting the whole load. Use of wheelbarrows is typical in the construction business and in gardening. Typical capacity is approximately 170 litres (6 cubic feet) of material.
A two-wheel kind is a lot more stable on level ground, while the practically universal one-wheel type has far better maneuverability in small spaces, on planks or when tilted ground would throw the load off balance. The use of a single wheel also permits greater control with the deposition from the load on emptying.
The invention of the Wheelbarrow resulted from the simple rearrangement of already existing components. The wheel existed. The barrow existed. The ideas of leverage have been well known. Nonetheless, these elements were not co-mingled in a single unit and perfected to turn into the helpful advance in labor saving and productiveness that we use to today till somebody creatively addressed this need.
The twenty first century presents the creative, entrepreneurial class many opportunities to address and clear up actual needs. There has never been a better time for the commercialization of latest merchandise and services. Everywhere in the world inventors, engineers and companies are striving to discover answers and solutions to health, power, resource, agriculture and materials needs. The speed of innovation accelerates every decade. The world is a greater place for this bustling outpouring of energy, braveness, investment and creativity

Menarche is the word of the day. Decades ago, I did not know the word menarche when the event occurred. Now I want young women (and older ones) to know the meaning of the word menarche when it’s most important.
I turned to Merriam-Webster for the definition of menarche:
menarche – the beginning of the menstrual function; especially : the first menstrual period of an individual.
Did you know the meaning of menarche? When menstruation started, it was typically referred to as your first period. Menarche sounds more ladylike to me. It also rolls off the tongue like Monarch, a butterfly, the transformation…
Words are beautiful.
Commodities” is the word Asin used to describe

INDIA MUMBAI: “Commodities” is the word actress Asin Thottumkal used to describe the inhabitants of the world of showbiz, saying that it is compromise not creativity which is the name of the game in Bollywood.
The 24-year-old actress, who was speaking in the Youth Forum of the India Today Conclave 2010 here today on the topic ‘Change: Idealism vs Reality’ was at her candid best and said that values and integrity are compromised on a daily basis in the film industry.
“In Bollywood we all are commodities, who can be replaced by another at a moment’s notice. And therefore there is the need for constant compromise. If a formula works it is flogged to death, let ideas be damned,” said the actress.
Asin who was already a superstar in South Indian cinema when she debuted in Bollywood opposite superstar Aamir Khan in the 2008 blockbuster ‘Ghajini’ said that the only way to put the “soul” back into the industry was to stand up and say no to sub-standard products and practices.
“There can be many repercussions if you say no. As an actor it cam mean less endorsements, less visibility and less industry friends. But saying no to mediocre products is the only way to put the soul back into the industry,” said Asin.
The actress who has not signed on any new projects after her second film ‘London Dreams’ starring Ajay Devgn and Salman Khan flopped at the box office said that she has always been choosy about her projects. “There is a lot of pressure on me to sign movies. But one should believe in what one wants to do and it works for me,” said Asin who shared the dias with actor Ranbeer Kapoor at the event.
