Following the worldwide success of Love Sex Aur Dhokha, the Balaji Telefilms-owned owned Alt Entertainment, has announced its next film titled Raginni MMS.

A sensuous paranormal thriller, Raginni MMS, will go on floor in December 2010, and is slated to be released in March/April 2011.

The cameras that were meant to capture love-making, become witness to something that is beyond the realm of human understanding.

To be produced in association with iRock Films, Raginni MMS will be directed by Pawan Kripalani.

SAN’A: Yemeni police arrested two women on suspicion of mailing a pair of bombs powerful enough to take down airplanes, officials said Saturday as details emerged about a plot aimed at the U.S. that exploited security gaps in the worldwide shipping system.

Investigators were scouring Yemen for more suspects tied to al-Qaida’s affiliate in the country, and several U.S. officials identified the terrorist group’s top explosives expert in Yemen as the most likely bombmaker.

On Saturday, Yemeni officials announced the arrest of a woman and her mother in connection with the plot. The two were not identified but a defense lawyer who has been in contact with the family, Abdul Rahman Barham, said the younger woman was a 22-year-old engineering student in her fifth year at San’a University and that her mother was 45.

Reliance Big Entertainment Ltd., a member of Reliance ADA Group, has acquired an undisclosed majority shareholding in the Los Angeles and London based international film sales company IM Global – it was announced today by IM Global founder and CEO, Stuart Ford.

In February 2010, the two companies formed a sales alliance that saw IM Global handle Reliance’s prolific Hindi film output internationally – a groundbreaking arrangement in terms of a mainstream Hollywood player distributing Bollywood cinema.

The successful sales alliance has now progressed to Reliance acquiring a majority stake in IM Global, which Ford founded in March 2007. This extended relationship between the two companies ensures an increased capability for independent film financing by IM Global, an expansion into sales and financing for top tier non-English language cinema as well as selective rights acquisitions for India and other Asian markets.

Ford’s holding company Ancramdale will retain a significant equity position in the business, and the 40 year old LA-based Brit will continue as Chief Executive Officer under a multi-year deal.

Stuart Ford CEO IM Global said, “After a phenomenal first three years, the company is ready to move onto the next stage of its strategic growth. I simply could not wish for a more dynamic partner to help nurture that progression. We’re also looking forward to support Reliance extend its presence in Hollywood and the worldwide film community.”

The Redskins’ pick was the subject of a great deal of speculation on Thursday — there was talk that new coach Mike Shanahan wanted to move up, or that he wanted to move down, or that he wanted to bolster the offensive line, or that he wanted to beef up the defense.

As it turned out, the offensive line was the choice, and in the athletic Williams the Redskins got a player who’s perfect for the zone-blocking schemes that Shanahan wants to implement. New quarterback Donovan McNabb will also be pleased to have Williams as a teammate.

“Coach Shanahan just called me and wanted to know if I was committed to being great,” Williams said immediately after he was picked. “I assured him I was.”

Williams was the third Oklahoma Sooner to go in the first four picks of this year’s NFL draft. Never in NFL history had one college team produced three of the top four picks in any single draft.

Scientists fear tremors at the Eyjafjallajokull could trigger an even more dangerous eruption at the nearby Katla volcano, creating a worst-case scenario for the airline industry and travellers around the globe.

A Katla eruption would be 10 times stronger and shoot higher and larger plumes of ash into the air than its smaller neighbour, which has already brought European air travel to a standstill for five days and promises severe travel delays for days more.

Google, Viacom Sling Mud In YouTube Court Fight

4c84d0e85bfight Google, Viacom Sling Mud In YouTube Court FightThe Viacom-Google battle over YouTube’s alleged copyright infringement has been going on mostly behind the scenes for years. But court documents made public this week shed some light on the unfolding drama.

Viacom filed suit against Google in 2007 for allegedly allowing users to upload more than 100,000 videos clips containing copyrighted Viacom content, including parts of shows from MTV, Comedy Central, and Nickelodeon. The suit, which seeks $1 billion in damages, was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.

Now the court is making documents public. Revelations include a Google claim that Viacom employees posted clips on YouTube and complained about YouTube hosting them. The documents also reveal Viacom’s unsuccessful bid for YouTube in October 2006. Google won the bidding wars and paid $1.65 billion for the video-sharing site.
“Google beat out Viacom, and Viacom has had sour grapes ever since,” said Ilan Barzilay, a litigator at Seyfarth Shaw in Boston. “As far as immediate impact on these things on the lawsuit, this isn’t going to mean much. The parties are filing motions and the court will be addressing issues on summary judgment. The court may or may not ultimately decide the case on summary judgment or may cue it up for trial, which would be a circus.”
