572373857alevel Water In Tarbela At Dead LevelAfter Mangla Dam, water in Tarbela Dam has also dropped to the dead level of 1,369 feet today.
On this, the discharge of water from the dam has been reduced to 4,000 cusecs. The water level in Tarbela is at 1,378ft while the water inflow was 21400 cusecs and outflow from the dam was 30100 cusecs, reports said.
The water level in Mangla Dam remained at the dead level of 1,040 feet whereas the water storage is 2000 acre feet. According to water experts, the decrease in water levels in both the reservoirs would negatively affect the power generation capacity of the dams, the per acre yield of agricultural produce and the upcoming Kharif agricultural season.
